What's in the Blend

Every ingredient is sourced from FDA 503(a) and 503(b) certified pharmaceutical facilities and administered by a licensed RN under the oversight of our Medical Director, Dr. Jawad Trad.

  • Electrolytes (Potassium, Calcium, Sodium) — support hydration balance and cellular function
  • Methylcobalamin B12 — supports energy production and nervous system function
  • Zinc — supports immune and cellular health
  • Magnesium — supports muscle relaxation and nervous system balance
  • Toradol (Ketorolac) (optional, when clinically appropriate) — a non-narcotic pain-relief medication administered under medical oversight
  • Zofran (Ondansetron) (optional, when clinically appropriate) — supports nausea relief and digestive comfort

Prescription medications are administered only after proper screening and clinical approval.

What to Expect

Your RN takes your vitals and reviews your symptoms before your drip begins. We use a topical anesthetic spray for IV insertion—important when you’re already dealing with head pain and light sensitivity. The infusion runs about 45 minutes, and most clients feel relief setting in well before it’s finished. You’ll leave with aftercare instructions and a direct contact for any follow-up questions. Many clients find the experience itself to be calming and restorative.

Why IV Infusion Therapy Works for Migraines

Oral medications have to clear your digestive system before they reach your bloodstream—and when nausea is part of the episode, that process is even less reliable. IV infusion therapy for migraines bypasses that entirely, delivering fluids, electrolytes, and targeted medications at full strength, immediately.

Dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and magnesium deficiency are all well-documented migraine triggers. Magnesium in particular has been consistently linked to both migraine frequency and severity, and IV delivery ensures your cells receive it at therapeutic levels. Combined with pharmaceutical-grade pain relief and anti-nausea medication, this isn’t a single-symptom fix—it addresses the full picture.

Is This Infusion Right for You?

Thrive’s migraine IV infusion is a strong fit for acute migraine episodes, chronic migraines, tension headaches with nausea, and situations where oral medications haven’t provided adequate relief or are difficult to keep down. Text us at 918-550-2740 if you have questions about whether this treatment is the right fit for your situation.

IV Hydration is not suitable for those with Congestive Heart Failure or Renal Impairment. Your RN will review your health history before your service begins.

Nurse-Led Migraine Care in Tulsa

Every infusion at Thrive is administered by a licensed Registered Nurse holding ACLS and BLS certification, with clinical backgrounds spanning Critical Care, Cardiology, the ER, and more. When medications like Toradol and Zofran are part of your treatment, that level of training isn’t a bonus—it’s the baseline.

Our protocols are developed and overseen by Dr. Jawad Trad, a triple board-certified cardiologist. You’re not walking into a pop-up wellness bar. You’re receiving medically guided care in a calm, spa-like environment—recliners, warming blankets, noise-canceling headphones—designed to make a very difficult day a little more manageable.
